JustJoin Terms of Service
Version 2026-05-04
How JustJoin Works and What You Agree To
1. Operator
JustJoin is operated by Moovers CommV, Schilderstraat 1, 8770 Ingelmunster, Belgium (VAT BE 0767.796.570). Contact: support@justjoin.app.
2. The service
JustJoin is a technical platform that enables hosts to create clubs, schedule sessions, share a single booking link, and accept registrations and payments. JustJoin is not a marketplace and does not curate or recommend hosts.
3. Roles — host as merchant of record
For every paid booking, support payment, or membership, the host is the merchant of record and the contractual counterparty of the attendee. The host is solely responsible for delivering the session, issuing receipts and invoices, and complying with applicable VAT and consumer-law obligations.
Moovers CommV acts only as a technical platform and payment facilitator. Moovers CommV is not a party to the contract between host and attendee and is not liable for the performance, quality, or safety of any session.
4. Platform fees
For each successful monetised transaction (paid session, support, membership), Moovers CommV charges a platform fee of 3% of the transaction amount. Stripe processing fees apply separately and are deducted by Stripe. Net proceeds are paid out to the host's connected Stripe account on Stripe's payout schedule.
5. Host obligations
- Provide accurate session information (date, time, location, price, capacity).
- Hold any required licences, insurance, and qualifications.
- Not list illegal, unsafe, or rights-infringing activities.
- Honour confirmed bookings or apply the announced cancellation/refund policy fairly.
- Comply with applicable data-protection, consumer, and tax law in their country.
6. Attendee bookings & cancellations
Each session displays its cancellation and refund policy above the join button. By joining, the attendee accepts the host's policy. JustJoin provides automated refunds for paid online sessions where the host fails to share the meeting link in time.
Right of withdrawal (consumers): Under Article 16(l) of Directive 2011/83/EU (EU Consumer Rights Directive), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to leisure services tied to a specific date or period of performance — which includes scheduled sessions on JustJoin. Refunds are governed by the host's published cancellation policy.
7. Memberships
Memberships are recurring subscriptions managed via Stripe. Members can cancel at any time from their management link; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-period refunds unless required by law.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use JustJoin to harass, defraud, or harm others, to circumvent fees, to scrape attendee data, or to publish illegal content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law, Moovers CommV's liability towards hosts is limited to the platform fees paid in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law (including consumer-protection law).
Moovers CommV is not liable for injuries, losses, or damages arising from attendance at offline or online sessions. Participants attend at their own risk; hosts must require waivers where appropriate.
10. Notice & action (DSA)
To report illegal content, copyright infringement, or terms violations, write to support@justjoin.app with the URL, the reason, and your contact details. We act on substantiated reports within a reasonable time.
11. Online dispute resolution
The European Commission provides an online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged and not willing to participate in dispute settlement procedures before a consumer arbitration board.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified to hosts at least 30 days in advance by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Kortrijk, Belgium, except where mandatory EU consumer-protection law allows a consumer to bring proceedings in their country of residence.
