Pricing

Free sessions are free.
Paid sessions cost 3%.

No monthly fee, no per-seat fee, no contract. When you charge for a session, JustJoin takes a flat 3% and Stripe takes its standard processing fee. That is the whole price list.

What you actually keep

Two worked examples, arithmetic shown. Stripe's published rate for standard European Economic Area cards is ≈1.5% + €0.25 (stripe.com/ie/pricing, checked 23 August 2026). Your exact rate still depends on card type and payout currency.

A €12 drop-in session

Attendee pays€12.00
JustJoin fee (3%)−€0.36
Stripe processing (≈1.5% + €0.25)−€0.43
You receive≈ €11.21

A €20 paid session

Attendee pays€20.00
JustJoin fee (3%)−€0.60
Stripe processing (≈1.5% + €0.25)−€0.55
You receive≈ €18.85

The attendee pays €12.00 and €20.00 exactly. Fees come out of your side, never out of theirs. Stripe's regional rates were read off Stripe's own country pricing pages on 23 August 2026; check the current rate for your country at stripe.com/pricing.

How that compares

Competitor figures are their own published prices, checked August 2026. This table stays in euros whatever your country: the competitors publish their fixed fees in dollars, so converting the comparison would turn published figures into estimates.

ToolPublished fee on paid bookingsTotal fees on a €20 session
JustJoin3% flat + Stripe processing. No monthly fee.≈ €1.15
Heylo (free tier)5% + $0.59 per transaction, plus Stripe processing≈ €2.47
Eventbrite3.7% + $1.79 per ticket, plus 2.9% processing≈ €3.11

How the €20 column is built: ours is €0.60 platform fee plus roughly €0.55 of Stripe processing. Heylo's is 5% (€1.00) plus their $0.59 fixed fee, plus Stripe processing of 2.9% + $0.30 — Heylo's help article (updated 13 Feb 2026) states Stripe's fees come on top of every plan. Eventbrite's is 3.7% + $1.79 service fee plus 2.9% payment processing. Heylo's and Eventbrite's fixed components are published in US dollars and treated one-to-one here, so those two are close approximations, not exact amounts. Pricing questions, answered plainly

No. There is no subscription, no plan to choose, no minimum term and no contract. If you run nothing for six months, you pay nothing for six months.

No. The price shown on the session page is exactly what the attendee pays at checkout. Both our fee and Stripe's are deducted from the host's side — never added on top of the attendee's price.

Payments go through Stripe Connect to your own Stripe account. Stripe pays out to your bank on its standard schedule for your country and account type — new accounts usually have a short holding period on the first payout, then settle on a rolling schedule. JustJoin never holds your money and cannot delay a payout.

Our 3% is returned in full with the refund — we keep nothing on a booking that was refunded. Stripe does not return its own processing fee on a refund, so that part stays with Stripe. That is not ours to give back, and we won't pretend otherwise.

JustJoin emails a payment confirmation for every transaction, and Stripe can send its own automatic receipts if you switch them on in your Stripe settings. JustJoin does not generate formal tax invoices — check what your own country requires of you.

Not for JustJoin. Stripe supports individuals in most countries, so you can take payment as a sole individual. Your own tax obligations are still yours.

Our 3% and Stripe's processing fee are what they are — neither is added on top of what the attendee pays, and neither splits your price into a net amount and VAT. What you owe on your own revenue is yours: whether your sessions are taxable, whether you have to register, and at what rate all depend on where you are and what you run. JustJoin does not issue tax invoices and does not file anything on your behalf, so check your local rules — or ask your accountant — before you set a price.

Only when you want to publish a paid, support-based or members-only session. Free sessions never touch Stripe. When you do connect, it is a guided Stripe form that takes about five minutes — your details, an ID check, and the bank account for payouts. No developer work, nothing to install.

No. The 3% is on the amount you charge, whatever the headcount. A free session with 200 attendees costs the same as a free session with 2: nothing.

Start with a free session.

You only meet the 3% on the day you decide to charge for something.

Already running your club on Meetup or WhatsApp? Run both.

Nothing has to move. Keep the channel you have, and use JustJoin for the booking step only. Free sessions cost nothing, so trying it costs you the ten minutes it takes to set up — then you decide with numbers instead of a guess.
